A breast augmentation before the summer

Every plastic surgeon knows this question: “I would really like to have my breasts enlarged, but what is the best time of year to do it?”. In fact, there is no clear-cut answer to this. It really depends on why you are considering the procedure. First and foremost, it is important to realise that a breast augmentation is something you above all have to want yourself. If you are sure about that, it does no harm to take a look at your diary.

Is a busy period coming up in which you really cannot be missed at work or in your social circle? Then that is not the best time to have your breasts enlarged. Some people are fully back in their daily routine a week after the procedure, but everyone is different. Is that wedding or big party for which you want to look absolutely perfect two months away? Then the time has come to go for a consultation with your plastic surgeon. But perhaps you can see a holiday period coming up in which you have nothing at all to do, and in which you do not want to lie on the beach in a bikini or swimsuit either. Then it is worth scheduling the procedure just before it.

The ideal time before the summer

So in fact, any time of year is the right time for a breast augmentation. It really depends on what your personal diary looks like. It is a fact, though, that spring is the busiest time for plastic surgeons to perform breast augmentation procedures. For most women this is still the ideal moment, because a procedure in spring gives them enough time to look absolutely perfect again in the summer. The recovery period is then behind them, the scars have healed, and being seen in a bikini – or topless – can then be a great pleasure.

Do bear in mind, though, that there is time between the first consultation and the actual procedure.
