Boerhaave launches De Plastische Chirurgie Podcast: first episode on ‘ageing well’.

A lot is said and written about plastic surgery. Online you will find an abundance of information – but what is really good, clear information, and where is nuance often missing?

That is why Boerhaave is launching De Plastische Chirurgie Podcast: a new series of candid conversations in which we shed light on all sides of plastic surgery – honest, expert and accessible.

🎙️ First episode: ageing well
The first episode focuses on the theme of getting older. Because getting older is actually a lot of fun – but how do you age well, how do you deal with the first signs of decline, and what role can plastic surgery play in that?
Host Marit van Bohemen talks with journalist and author Wies Verbeek (founder of the platform BLOW; ’n beetje leuk ouder worden) and plastic surgeon drs. Vito Koeijers. Together they discuss the ageing process.

The next episodes will follow soon, with inspiring guests such as social media specialist Moïse Trustfull and content creator and expert by experience Beau Fleur Hesling. Together with our specialists, they discuss topics such as breast augmentations, eyelid corrections, preparation and aftercare – but also broader themes, such as the influence of social media and whether plastic surgery is still a taboo.
