On Friday 19 April we opened our 11th operating theatre. Together with the 6 operating theatres at the clinic in Utrecht, this brings us to a total of 11 operating theatres. This new outpatient operating theatre in Amsterdam offers a direct response to the growing demand for plastic surgery and will ensure even shorter waiting times for patients.

With the opening of the 11th operating theatre, we remain true to our core values: attention to the patient and keeping waiting times as short as possible. The new outpatient operating theatre offers space for various procedures under local anaesthesia, such as eyelid corrections, an eyebrow lift, scar corrections and labia corrections. It will also free up extra capacity in our other operating theatres.

The operating theatre, just like the operating theatres in Utrecht, is equipped with the latest technology. In addition, by bringing this operating theatre into use, we want to take a further step in sustainability. For example, it is no longer necessary to have patients change completely. As well as more comfort for the patient, this also produces less medical waste.
