A breast augmentation without implants. Is that really possible? Sometimes you meet people and think: I wish everything were as perfectly in place for me. People with exactly the right bust and hip measurements, and on top of that a beautiful face without a single wrinkle. You probably then think: ‘That’s not for me’, and walk on, resigned.
But is it really not for you? Aesthetic plastic surgery has developed and become enormously refined over the years. Just look at the beautiful – and very natural-looking – results that can be achieved today with, for example, a facelift or breast augmentation. Another development that has been increasingly perfected over the years is lipofilling. Perhaps not yet as well known to the general public as some other plastic surgery procedures, but a technique that can deliver beautiful results.
The beauty of lipofilling is that it makes it possible to use excess fat from one place in the body to enhance the body in another place. Think, for example, of what it can mean for someone with excess abdominal fat if this fat can be suctioned out of the abdomen and injected into the face to fill wrinkles. Or into a scar to make it much less visible. But it is also possible to move excess fat from one place in the body to the breasts or buttocks, to give them a more attractive and fuller appearance. A breast augmentation without implants, then – undoubtedly a hugely appealing prospect for many women. And for those who already have breast implants, lipofilling can offer a solution if the two breasts are not exactly the same size or change shape asymmetrically with age.
An experienced plastic surgeon can estimate very accurately whether you have enough excess body fat to make lipofilling possible. He can also estimate how much fat he needs to add to the body part of your choice. He knows that some of the transplanted fat cells will dissolve. And so he also knows how much he needs to insert to achieve the – lasting – result you want.
Does it still sound a bit like a thing of the future to you? Then consider that in 2015 the American society for aesthetic plastic surgery registered no fewer than 18,135 lipofillings of the breasts, 18,487 of the buttocks and as many as 48,059 of the face. With beautiful results.
Lipofilling is therefore a great solution if you are looking for a way to use excess fat to enlarge your breasts. You can read more about this on our lipofilling treatment page. Are you also interested in a regular breast augmentation? Then take a look at our breast augmentation treatment page.
