Meet ophthalmologist Dr. L Bosch-Driessen

Dr. Bosch-Driessen has been working as an ophthalmologist since 2005. She completed her training as an ophthalmologist at the University Medical Center Utrecht. Prior to her residency , she earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation titled “Ocular Toxoplasmosis: New Insights into Diagnosis, Clinical Features, and Therapy.”

After completing her training, she worked as a cataract surgery fellow at the Rotterdam Eye Hospital. She then worked as an ophthalmologist at the Meander Medical Center in Baarn, and subsequently spent nine years as a general ophthalmologist at the Flevo Hospital in Almere. There, she gained extensive experience in general ophthalmology, with a particular focus on medical retina, uveitis, and cataract surgery. In addition, she worked as an ophthalmologist at the Bartiméus Diagnostic Center.

From 2016 to 2026, Dr. Bosch-Driessen was affiliated with Bergman Clinics, where she further specialized in eyelid surgery. She is known for her personal approach, attention to detail, and careful guidance of patients. Dr. Bosch-Driessen believes it is important to clearly explain to patients what they can expect from a treatment and takes the time to put them at ease. As a result, patients often feel calm and relaxed during a procedure, allowing them to undergo treatment with confidence.
