Meet plastic surgeon Dr. G. Jansen

Dr. Jansen is BIG-registered and a member of various Dutch and international professional organizations, including the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery (NVPC) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Previously, he served as a staff member in the Plastic Surgery departments at Maastricht UMC+ and Radboudumc in Nijmegen. He also worked as an Oberarzt in the hand and plastic surgery department at the Städtisches Krankenhaus Hildesheim in Germany.

As a plastic surgeon, he was also part of trauma teams that provided assistance following the earthquakes in Haiti and Pakistan. These diverse experiences have shaped him into a versatile surgeon who acts with care and decisiveness even in complex and unexpected situations. At the Boerhaave Clinic, he works at the Utrecht and Arnhem locations.

According to Gabriel, aesthetic surgery requires a personalized approach and advice tailored to the individual patient. With his typically Dutch down-to-earth attitude, he has been helping patients realize their aesthetic goals for over sixteen years, without losing sight of reality. “Not everyone has a realistic view of themselves. I regularly speak with women who think they need an enhancement, even though they already have a beautiful, natural appearance. The choice, of course, remains with the patient, but I always tell them honestly what I see and what I can or cannot achieve.
